ABOUT JULIE
Your Health and wellbeing
Julie's vision is to empower and support clients to achieve their ultimate health, gain a deeper connection to their own bodies and live with more vitality and ease.
Slow down
Her aim as a therapist is to offer clients the space to rest, connect to themselves, be heard, and take a break from the busyness of their lives. Julie believes it is vital to switch off the stress response, to allow the body to heal and replenish. Through her sessions she also hopes to give you – the client – the tools of body and breath awareness to use in your day-to-day life.
Reduce stress
As a mother of two teenagers, with a background in the corporate world, she weaves together everything she has learned in her own life, to help you with yours. While working as an accountant, plagued by postural aches and pains, she became
aware of the impact that stress can have on our bodies. This realisation drove Julie to find ways to manage and minimise the effect of stress on herself and others: physically, mentally and on a deeper emotional level.
Julie's experience
Her search for healing tools and therapies led her to train as a Sports and Remedial Massage therapist and she also turned to Mindfulness practices and Yoga. Then, during her own pregnancies she discovered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) and was deeply moved by the profound potential of this healing modality. She completed a two-year training program with Stillness Trainings to become a BCST Practitioner. Julie enjoys supporting people of all ages and walks of life. She has over 15 years’ experience helping mums, pregnant women, corporate workers and sports people.
Sessions
Julie offers massage and BCST sessions separately or combined, and within those sessions uses various
techniques and therapies. Each session is tailored to your current individual needs.
